One of our goals is to provide integrated ticketing that makes public transport a more attractive choice by allowing one ticket to be used on different services, such as bus and train Over the next five years will be working with the public transport sector to create a national integrated ticketing framework, to help improve the effectiveness of public transport. Trough innovation, working with key partners, and embracing technology, we will start our first step from Kabul, and will work with other regions to see how this could benefit them.

We will provide funding to develop the central system for the Kabul integrated fare system, which in turn is the foundation for the proposed framework across Afghanistan through a prepaid concession card for bus commuters which will be just the beginning.

Joint Transport Operations Centers (JTOC)

Joint transport operations centres (JTOC) in different zones and cities will have strong working relationships with other agencies.
